For anyone who serves as a volunteer with children and youth, PA Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, and FBI Fingerprint-Based Background Check (if applicable) are required. These clearances are good for five years. Volunteers under 18 do not need clearances, but must obtain them upon turning 18.
