Paul Revere’s urgent warning saved the colonial militia from disaster, but even that message is insignificant compared to the news Christians carry. In a world oppressed by sin and darkness, we bear the urgent announcement that Jesus Christ has conquered the enemy and offers salvation. This historical event pales in comparison to the critical nature of the Gospel. Satan and his forces of darkness oppress the world with temptation to sin, and many are living their lives hopelessly and dying in their sins.
