The STEAM program is a mentoring/educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Media as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. During the weekend, STEAM SURVIVORSHIP is a weekend backpack filled with clothes, personal hygiene items, food & beverages they earned by completing the task, project or whatever is required by the end of each S.T.E.A.M component. The purpose is to get them through the weekend with basic necessities that may not be readily available to them.
