The St. Vincent de Paul Home Visit Team assisted a young mother in her early 30s who is facing extraordinary challenges. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer and lost her job. The team was able to assist her directly with rent and connected her with local resources for financial aid with utilities, food, and water. Beyond financial support, the most meaningful part of our visit was offering prayer, listening to her story, and sharing in her heroic spirit.
