All adults who have regular contact with children must fulfill the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Safe Environment Program Requirements. All clearances (1, 2, and 3) must be obtained BEFORE working with Children. The Pennsylvania Criminal Background Check and Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance are free for volunteers. The Federal Fingerprint Check fee remains unchanged.
What's needed
- Obtain PA Criminal Background Check.
- Obtain Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance.
- Obtain FBI History Clearance-Act 114 (if applicable).
- Sign Mandated Reporter Acknowledgement Form.
- Complete Safe Environment Part 1 (Protecting God’s Children).
- Complete Safe Environment Part 2 (Mandated Reporter).
