Outreach – Blankets for Allegheny General Hospital Pediatrics

Our church members have been making throw blankets for the pediatric department at the Allegheny General Hospital for the past 15 years. We tie blankets the first Saturday afternoon of each month following the Fellowship meal. The blankets are then washed, bagged with a small story book and delivered to the childhood specialist at Allegheny General Hospital. We accept monetary donations toward the purchase of fleece and always are looking for willing hands to assist in the tying.
