Operation Christmas Child is a wonderful ministry of Samaritan’s Purse. OCC’s goal is for every child in the world to receive one shoebox filled with gifts during their childhood. These shoeboxes are tangible demonstrations of God’s love. Their purpose is to create an opportunity for children around the world to hear of Good News of God’s love sent to them through His Son Jesus Christ. Not only do we pack a lot of shoeboxes at EBC, we also serve as a drop off point for our region! We have a monthly focus on OCC where we collect specific items to be used for packing shoeboxes in the Fall.
