Northwood Elementary School Support

Members of EBC support learning activities at the church’s neighborhood elementary school, Northwood Elementary. The school’s student population is extremely diverse and a large number of children come from homes where the family income falls below the federal poverty line and/or are refugees, and immigrants battling language and culture barriers. Throughout the school year, Emerywood works with Northwood and Communities in Schools to provide breakfast buddies, lunch buddies, and intentional reading tutors each week.
