Prior to each trip we gather medical supplies for the team to take, along with basic toiletries, clothes and shoes—things that we take for granted but are in short supply there. The vast majority of the medicine given on these trips is an anti-parasitic to help with water-born disease. Each person seen at these clinics is given enough treatment for their whole household.
