A Kids Hope mentor is a member of our congregation that spends one hour a week during the school year at Orchard Knob Elementary School as an intentional friend with a purpose. The mentor and student spend time reading, playing games, and doing other activities. The purpose is to inspire the child's social and emotional development and show them a big world outside of their neighborhoods and city.
