During the month of November, parishioners donate to families in need so they can have a Thanksgiving Day Meal. A list of non-perishable items will be posted at the beginning of November and drop-offs will take place at Allen Place. Many also appreciate the following items as they cannot use food stamps to purchase them: Napkins, paper towels, plates and cups, reusable bags, and aluminum roasting pans. Those families living in homeless shelters are also grateful for $25 Stop & Shop gift cards, which they’ll use to buy roasted chickens, sides, and dessert.
