The International AIDS Candlelight Memorial is observed each year on the third Sunday of May. It is a time for reflection, remembrance, and renewed commitment to honor lives lost to HIV and AIDS, uplift their journeys, and recognize those who fought to prevent the spread of the virus. The memorial also serves to increase HIV awareness, mobilize communities, and address stigma and discrimination.
