Funeral Dinner Volunteers

The volunteers for this ministry provide all necessary food for a dinner following funeral services for the family and friends of the deceased. Activities include set-up, serving the food and clean-up following the meal. Dinners are held at the time and location the family chooses. The family is responsible for providing the main dish. Parish volunteers will provide side dishes such as salads, vegetables, and desserts to accompany the main dish. Volunteers will also set up tables, chairs and serving tables with necessary serving materials (paper plates, cups, napkins, plastic utensils); serving food and cleaning up after the meal. Coffee and lemonade will be provided.
