We also sponsor a Free Farmer’s Market event on the 2nd Saturday of each month. We hire special needs youth enrolled in LB Unified School District’s ACT program to work the Free Farmer’s Market events. Through this grant we also pay for gardening and nutrition classes as well as cooking classes to teach them sustainable ways of feeding themselves.
