Food Pantry Restocking and Distribution

On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, food is received from local retailers. Volunteers pick up, weigh, log, and store this food. On Thursdays, over a thousand pounds of food are delivered from the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley, and volunteers carry it to storage. Throughout the week, volunteers are on call to pick up donations from a local retailer. Volunteers are also needed every Friday starting at 11:00 am to prepare food for distribution by taking canned and dried goods to bags set up on tables in the Fellowship Hall.
