The Our Daily Bread Food Ministry is a diocesan wide initiative to feed the hungry. It involves distributing bread and other grocery donations to local food pantries. We at St. Joseph are a local branch of the diocesan program. Seven (7) days a week we pick up bread donations from Publix and deliver to food pantries, soup kitchens and several standalone kiosk food pantries. We also have a pick up from the Harris Teeter warehouse once a month that is distributed to the various pantries we serve. We are always looking for new sources of food donations.
