FBCC serves the community by providing facilities for a Day Drop-In Center through the Homeless Coalition. Services are provided for people experiencing homelessness or at risk for homelessness in a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment. Services include access to hot showers and laundry facilities, an address/phone number and place to receive mail and store important documents securely, assisted access to telephones and computers, access to information regarding available community, state, and federal services, referrals to local service providers, referrals to first-level medical checkups, and access to caring, concerned volunteers. Hours are Monday-Friday, 9-11 AM. The center is located at 1005 S. 14th St, Fernandina Beach FL 32034.
