Compassionate Christmas has a rich history that dates back to the 1980’s when the Ballard family and foundational supporters of NCC wanted to come together, to provide vital “food baskets” to the our neighbors in need in the Memphis community. The mission was simple but powerful – to spread love and kindness to those who hungered in ways that went beyond food.
