Our Lady of Grace Church has several ministries that serve the community. These include FESCO (Family Emergency Shelter Coalition), Helping Hands (providing meals for funeral receptions), Pastoral Care to the Sick (delivering communion and visiting homebound parishioners), Pax Christi (advocating for peace and social justice), Prayer Shawls (creating shawls for the homebound and sick), and the St. Vincent de Paul Society (assisting the poor and those in temporary need).
What's needed
- Join FESCO Board and act as liaison.
- Provide food, time, and talent for Helping Hands receptions.
- Volunteer a couple of hours a week for Pastoral Care to the Sick.
- Participate in activities that support Bread for the World, FESCO, and the South Hayward parish for Pax Christi.
- Crochet or knit shawls for the homebound and sick.
- Visit the poor and those in temporary need for the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
