Pastor Rey Escalante and his family host a Sunday service and meal every week for the homeless and working poor. Their congregation meets in Flour Bluff. Different churches provide the food each week; Oso services quarterly. This is a great outreach for families and lifegroups to take part in, both by providing and serving food, and by having conversations and worshiping together with the attendees. Church without Walls also hosts a weekly food pantry.
