The Missions Council is sponsoring a project to support BackPack Beginnings, a local non-profit that serves over 25,000 children in our community who are experiencing hunger and trauma. One of their ongoing needs is double-bagged plastic grocery bags, which are used to deliver food and supplies to children at schools. Volunteers will help sort food and pack grocery bags for children and families experiencing food insecurity.
