Alaska Missions Service Projects
Where: Hoschton, GA
Shared by Walnut Fork Baptist Church on
At Salmon Frenzy, Alaska Missions host service projects for Alaskan residents who are camping out on the Cook Inlet beaches at the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers. Thousands of Alaskans come to dip net sockeye salmon as a supplemental food source for their families. Alaska Mission's ministry approach is gentle servanthood and need-meeting through various methods: Kids' Clubs, Bounce Houses, Prayer Walking, Traffic Control, Trash Pick-up and serving free hot dogs, water and hot beverages. Share Christ in personal and relational ways. This team will engage the public in this secular forum through servant evangelism. This is "Beach Reach" Alaskan style! Come join us to host outreach projects on three beaches and at one boat dock. Make friends with fellow Christians as you join together in melting hardened hearts through servant evangelism.
